This update introduces Magic UI 4.0, providing a rich array of possibilities for you to stay connected in all scenarios. This new system version carries forward Huaweis All Scenario design concept and provides a richer and more integrated cross-device experience. Based on the idea of "Technology for people", Magic UI 4.0 brings a more artistic interface design, friendlier interactions, and a more innovative and convenient cross-device connection experience for people to perform better at work and in life. [Smart AOD] Magic UI 4.0 refines the user experience and brings vivid, dynamic visual elements for the Always On Display (AOD). [Themes] Adds the Starry Night theme, featuring vivid color painting and smoother animations. (You can apply this theme in the Themes app.) [Multi-Window] Multi-Window allows you to open apps in a floating window for multitasking. You can relocate the floating window to the desired location or minimize it to a floating bubble for easier access later. [Smoother animations] The brand new, intuitive animations throughout Magic UI 4.0 create a smoother, more unified, and visually pleasing user experience when touching items or sliding on the screen. Long-take animations will be displayed when you are switching between albums in Gallery or between year and month views in Calendar, for smoother visual effects. [Subtle effects] Whether youre toggling switches on or off, subtle effects have been enhanced throughout the OS for greater visual satisfaction. [Accessibility] Optimizes the visual accessibility designs in a variety of different scenarios, providing a more user-friendly experience for the visually impaired. [MeeTime] Besides HD voice and video calls, MeeTime also allows you to send encrypted messages and animated emojis, skip forward and backward when playing voice messages, and send groups of images in one go. Adds the MeeTime Direct feature, allowing you to quickly share original quality files of any size with your MeeTime contacts. Tasks can also be resumed if they pause unexpectedly. [Multi-screen Collaboration] This is a special feature that enables your devices to work together to achieve their full potential. You can mirror your phone to your laptops screen to improve your productivity with multiple app windows readily available. (This feature requires a Huawei laptop with PC Manager of version 11.0 or later.) [Notepad] It allows you to scan documents. You can now quickly identify and extract text from images, edit the text, export it in multiple file formats, and share it. [AI Subtitles] AI Subtitles supports converting audio to text for songs, videos, or speech picked up by your microphone even when the sound volume is turned off, as well as translating English content into Chinese in real time. [Gallery] On the Discover tab in Gallery, you can create video stories by applying preset templates with special effects and background music. The video editing features are optimized, providing you with more instructions on how to use the timeline and edit options. [System translation] Translate screen allows you to touch and hold the text on a foreign-language web page with one finger, or on a picture with two fingers, to have the text translated. You can also adjust the area of the screen to be translated. [Lasting smoothness] A new standard for system animations has been introduced, improving app launch speed and the smoothness of general operations. [Blurred app previews] On the recent tasks screen, previews of apps protected by TrustSpace or App Lock are automatically blurred or locked and hidden to protect your private data. [Undisturbed screen projection] When you project your phone in Do Not Disturb mode onto an external display, messages and incoming calls are displayed only on your phone screen, both protecting your privacy and ensuring the continuity of screen projection. [Notepad privacy] Allows you to lock notes in Notepad. [Photo sharing privacy] Allows you to remove the shooting location, time, and device information from photos before sharing them. 1. This update will not erase your personal data, but we recommend that you back up any important data before updating. 2. Some third-party apps that are not compatible with Magic UI 4.0 may function incorrectly after the update. It is recommended that you update these apps to their latest versions in AppGallery. 3. This system version can be rolled back to the official version of Magic UI 3.1 using HiSuite. Rolling back the system version will erase your personal data. Please back up your data in advance. 4. Pre-Requisite :

This Guide is only for Huawei users.

You need MicroSD Card or internal memory space to try any Huawei Stock ROM

A Micro SD card of 8GB or more should be available. It is recommended that The Micro SD card is made by ADATA, Silicon Power, Hp, Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax.

Make sure you have enough battery to run the upgrade process. It is recommended that the power of the battery is more than 40%.

Upgrade operations may erase all your user data. So if there is some important information, you should backup them before the upgrade.

Before flashing, you should unzip the SDupdate_Package.tar.gzfile, and get out UPDATE.APP to do upgrade operation on your SD Card. To unzip, we may sometime share two zip file, Update.zip package always comes with the main update.app which is a complete OS. Where has data file comes with data files from Huawei? Check the below file list.

First of all, Download the Update Package
Recommended: Format the Micro SD card (This operation is optional).
Now Unzip the Update.zip package and
Copy the entire dload folder (with UPDATE.APP in it) to the root directory of the Micro SD card.
Now on your phone, Open the dialer and call ->enter: *#*#2846579#*#* ->ProjectMenu->Software Upgrade->SDCard Upgrade->OK,
Now select the Update.app that you moved to SD Card (root directory).
Now you will see a screen which shows the installation process.
Wait until the installation process completes.
When the progress bar stop, the phone will restart automatically
In case if you have the Data File and you want to flash it, then, first of all, delete the earlier moved update.app from the dload folder
then you can extract the second file (update_data_Xxxxx) from above and move the new update.app to the dload folder.
repeat the same 4-8 Steps above.
That's it! You have Installed Stock Firmware on Huawei Smartphone.
